Summer’s here and it can only mean scorching heat and humidity. But wait, it can also mean it’s time for ice creams! Ideal Ice Cream Parlor as the name says is the ‘Ideal’ place for ice creams - those delightfully cool things to beat the heat of summer.
Located near the most happening place, the Hampankatta Market Road, Mangalore Ideal Ice Cream Parlor provides you with variety of ice creams giving you big time to make your choice. The parlor is one of the biggest in the city with a seating capacity of 300 people making it a lover’s paradise. The good news for foodies here is that they have branches at the G.H.S. Road and at Lalbagh.
You just can’t resist your temptation to give it a second shot when it comes to the dry fruit cocktail, a mix-and-match flavor mixed with dry fruits;
Gudbad which has three layers of ice cream (butterscotch, vanilla and strawberry), fresh fruits, dry fruits, mixed fruit jelly, chocolate sauce and a red cherry to top it all; and finally the Tiramusu, the one I would like to suggest, which is a combination of vanilla and chocolate cream. You can also check out the
Banana Split, Prafait, Chocolate Dad, Bee-Hive which are some of the most yummy and delicious things on earth!

9 am to 9 pm. And yes, before I forget you get all these for much much affordable price compared to the other parlors. So go on and experience the complete bliss that’s waiting for you out there!
The taste and quality of the ice creams they serve has never changed over years; only the size of the glass in which they are serving has! The ambience of the place is pretty good though a bit crowded. You can visit the place and get those softy delights anytime from 9 am to 9 pm. And yes, before I forget you get all these for much much affordable price compared to the other parlors. So go on and experience the complete bliss that’s waiting for you out there!

Hey Op
Yes! Mangalore become a destination for the students. Lot of institutions and across the country students are studying. Now Mnagalore is famous for institutions than the port.
Climate is also fine, except the humidity. The interesting thing is that still Mangalore acts as a town than a city. The shops closes around 8 PM. Roads are free after 7.30 PM
Do not miss the place when you visit next time.
